We Are Hiring for Two Positions

Lawlink Vietnam (LLVN) is expanding our legal team in Ho Chi Minh City and is currently inviting applications for the following positions:

• 01 Litigation Lawyer – Court Litigation & Commercial Arbitration

• 01 Associates – Corporate & Commercial Practice

We are looking for legal professionals who think independently, write with precision, take responsibility for their work and are committed to building a long-term career in legal practice.

1. Litigation Lawyer

Court Litigation & Commercial Arbitration

The Litigation Lawyer will work closely with LLVN’s Partners in handling civil, commercial, corporate, investment, real estate and construction disputes before Vietnamese courts and commercial arbitration tribunals.

Key responsibilities

• Review, organize and analyze case files, facts and evidence;

• Identify key legal issues, evidentiary gaps and procedural risks;

• Develop and update dispute resolution strategies, taking into account the client’s commercial objectives and the enforceability of potential outcomes;

• Draft and review submissions, statements of defence, legal arguments, evidence requests, applications for interim measures and other court or arbitration documents;

• Participate in negotiations, mediation, court proceedings and arbitral proceedings;

• Work directly with clients, courts, arbitral tribunals, enforcement authorities, experts and other relevant parties;

• Coordinate with junior team members and review work products before submission to the supervising Partner.

Basic requirements

• A valid Vietnamese lawyer practising certificate and Bar membership card;

• At least three years of practical experience in dispute resolution;

• Practical exposure to both court litigation and commercial arbitration;

• Strong ability to analyse complex files, assess evidence and prepare clear, logical and accurate legal documents;

• Good command of English for legal research, communication and document review;

• Independent judgment, professional responsibility and willingness to raise and discuss different legal views constructively.

Candidates with at least five years of experience or direct responsibility for complex disputes will be preferred.

2. Associate

Corporate & Commercial Practice

The Associates will participate in advisory matters and transactions involving corporate and commercial law, investment, M&A, employment, contracts, licensing and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal analysis;

• Draft and review contracts, legal memoranda, legal opinions, corporate documents and regulatory submissions;

• Assist with corporate, investment and licensing procedures;

• Participate in legal due diligence, transaction structuring and the preparation of transaction documents;

• Advise on corporate governance, employment, contractual and compliance matters;

• Communicate and coordinate with clients, authorities and other professional advisers;

• Manage assigned workstreams, deadlines and supporting documentation;

• Apply appropriate legal technology and AI-supported tools to improve research, document review and workflow management.

Basic requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law;

• Relevant practical experience in a law firm or corporate legal department;

• A sound foundation in corporate, commercial, investment, M&A, employment or regulatory matters;

• Strong research, analytical and legal drafting skills;

• Good working English, particularly for legal research and document review;

• Careful, responsible and proactive working style;

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet professional deadlines.

A Vietnamese lawyer practising certificate, experience in transactions involving foreign investors, or experience working directly with clients will be an advantage.
