On the evening of January 16, 2025, at the cozy banquet hall of Mr. Simple Steakhouse in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Lawlink Vietnam celebrated its 10-year anniversary. This special evening brought together esteemed guests, including long-time clients, partners, collaborators, and generations of Lawlinkers.
The event was marked by heartfelt moments, especially the speech by Ms. Le Thi Thuy, the founding and managing partner of Lawlink Vietnam, who reflected on the journey of the past decade:
“In the past 10 years, Lawlink Vietnam hasn’t achieved monumental feats but has remained steadfast in delivering meaningful contributions, no matter how small. We’ve strived to:
• Establish a firm place in the hearts of our clients. Among nearly 500 clients and thousands of consultations over the years, many who partnered with us in our early days still trust Lawlink as their legal companion throughout their business journey.
• Train and mentor nearly 100 legal interns, offering them real-world experience. Many of them have gone on to work at leading law firms in Vietnam and abroad.
• Contribute to the community by collaborating with professional organizations such as VCCI HCM, Cay Nen, and CHIR. Together, we have hosted hundreds of seminars and training programs to enhance legal knowledge and improve risk management capabilities for small and medium-sized enterprises.
• Expand partnerships with domestic and international organizations, including law firms and lawyers in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Singapore, and professional associations in South Korea, like KAITE and KMDIA.
• Support the medical community through CHIR by creating a platform for sharing legal and professional knowledge with thousands of healthcare professionals. We’ve conducted dozens of training sessions on medical law, labor law, and procurement law, while offering compliance assessments for medical facilities.
• Actively engage in pro bono and charitable initiatives, providing free legal assistance to those in need and organizing relief programs to support victims of natural disasters and pandemics.
Ms. Thuy acknowledged that the journey was not without challenges:
“Like any venture, building Lawlink Vietnam involved navigating through difficult periods—times of doubt, hardship, and even loneliness. It required resilience, perseverance, adaptability, and the courage to face and learn from setbacks. But today, we can proudly say we’ve built a brand that has earned trust and respect from our clients. Every Lawlinker can take pride in this achievement!”
